These manual sealers provide positive sealing action with minimal effort. They are light and durable, and feature a sure-seal device that prevents the operator from removing the sealer before the sealing action is complete. This also prevents poorly crimped or partially sealed joints.
These sealers lock strap ends into high-strength joints. Notch-type sealers cut into the seal and outer edges of the strapping to form two sets of tabs, pushing the tabs up (reverse notch).
The side-action sealer’s lower handle can be rested on the flat surface of the unit being strapped, enabling operators to apply much of their weight with both hands on the upper handle. Generally for heavier strapping applications.
